We are honored to announce that Jordan Vineyard & Winery has been named the 2025 Community Award recipient by the California Green Medal Sustainable Winegrowing Leadership Awards. This distinction celebrates a vineyard or winery that is a true Good Neighbor and Employer—one that uses innovative practices to strengthen relationships with employees, neighbors and the greater community.

At Jordan, sustainability and philanthropy are deeply rooted in everything we do. More than 75% of our 1,200-acre Alexander Valley estate is preserved as natural habitat, supporting biodiversity through pollinator corridors and land conservation. Our solar panels generate 70% of the winery’s electricity, and by sourcing the rest from local renewable energy providers, we’ve reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 86%.

Yet sustainability doesn’t stop at the vineyard—it extends to people. Through the John Jordan Foundation, a significant portion of our revenue supports more than 220 nonprofit organizations in education, health and youth services. From housing displaced animals during wildfires to donating $100,000 to Sonoma Restaurant Relief, we take pride in lifting up our neighbors in times of need.

That spirit of giving continues in 2025, with each of our 100 employees receiving $1,000 to donate to a nonprofit of their choice. It’s just one way we’re sharing our mission of service.

We’re proud to be recognized not only for how we farm, but for how we care—for our land, our people, and our community. As we celebrate Earth Month, we invite you to join us in raising a glass to sustainability, community and the shared responsibility we all have to protect and uplift the world around us.
