Jordan Winery’s Maribel Soto Receives Hospitality Award

Two years ago, CANVAS (Concierge Alliance of Napa Valley & Sonoma) created the CANVAS Hospitality Excellence Awards to recognize professionals who go above and beyond in providing exceptional service to wine country visitors.

We’re excited to announce that Assistant Guest Services Manager Maribel Soto, who also oversees our Jordan Estate Rewards program, won the 2015 CANVAS Excellence Award in the Tasting Room ~ Sonoma category. Nearly 150 industry professionals turned out last night for the organization’s festive gala and awards ceremony, hosted in the storied Champagne Cellars of Buena Vista Winery in Sonoma. Three finalists were nominated in 11 different categories, including  beauty & health, restaurant service (bartender and server), retail, event service, concierges, tour guides and winery.

In addition to a commemorative trophy, Maribel received a Wine & Spirit Education Trust scholarship for the organization’s Level 1 certification–a program she’d been hoping to enroll in this year.
